Mission
- To provide doctoral education focused on the development of theory and perspectives in communication based on innovative research, supported by cutting-edge technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence (AI), to address communication challenges in the digital age.
- Producing graduates who master communication theory, quantitative and qualitative research methods, and the philosophy of science, with a professional attitude, high ethics, and social sensitivity to contribute to the development of knowledge and the resolution of complex communication problems at the local, national, and international levels.

The Doctoral Programme in Communication Science at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University (Fikom Unpad) aims to produce graduates with global competencies in line with developments in communication science and technology. This objective is in line with the Program Educational Objectives (PEO) that have been established, referring to Rector Regulation No. 13 of 2023, article 3, namely:
